It's a . . .

Last weekend Jordan had off so we got to go for the first camping trip of the year. We went to Belknap Springs up the McKenzie River. We went along with my brother and his girlfriend, my cousin Ryan and his wife April, and our friends Paul and Kelly. It was pretty fun. I couldn't imagine camping not being fun. We stayed from Friday to Sunday. We lucked out on the weather too. It was pretty chilly, but dry! Hopefully this will start us out for many more trips this summer.

All of us huddled around the fire. It was chilly.

This is our awesome camper. When the heater works. When
it doesn't, we hate it!
My brothers new trailer is in the background, along with
his girlfriend Katie.
Jordan was bored, so he built a cabin out of kinlin.
This was one of the two pools.
You can't see very well, but the front of Jordan's sweatshirt is
totally soaked. He thought it would be funny to ask me to
stand in front of a water spiket so he could turn it on and
get me wet. Well it back fired and the pipe broke and water
shot out at him. Serves him right!
Jordan entertaining himself on the tire swing.

My cousin making fun of my belly.

McKenzie River
This was the source of the hot springs. The water behind the gate
was boiling out of the ground. I put my hand in it, and it was so
hot.

Paul cooking 6 lbs. of hamburger for dinner.
This lady was camped next to us. She had a crush on all the boys.
This was on a hike back in the woods.
We are still getting endless baby gifts. I can't believe how lucky we are to have family who loves us this much and already loves our baby so much. My mom got us our first baby girl outfit. (I think she's trying to jinx us!) It is adorable. And she also got us little hair things too. I already put some in my hair to see how they worked. I hope they look better on the baby. If it's a girl. If it's a boy, I know just the person who will love to have them. My mom picked up a baby name book. I've already read through it and we still are pretty set with the names we have. When we went up to Jordan's grandparents for Easter dinner they suprised us with a gift as well. They got us a cute little sleeper and two pairs of really cool shoes. The sleeper looks so comfortable I wish they made them in my size.

Jordan has been working like crazy on all his projects. He finished my 4-wheeler, and it runs like a champ. Now he has been working on the bronco. We went up to Forest Grove and picked up a new fender for it. So now he is sanding it down, doing body work, and then going to paint it. I can't believe how handy he is. It's going to look really nice. He's the best husband in the world. He has been so great with this pregnancy thing. If we go anywhere he packs my purse full of juice and snacks. Always asks how I'm feeling. Rubs my back when I whine. He is also so interested in everything that's going on. I am so lucky.

So I've still been feeling o.k. as long as I keep up on my water intake and eating every few hours. But I'm still haveing some trouble at work occasionally. I get hot, then dizzy, then my vision blacks out, my hearing goes after that, and then I usually can't even understand what people are telling me (they sound like Charlie Browns parents). The nurses usually have to basically carry me over and sit me on the ground so I don't pass out and hit the ground. My face turns completely white/green and I get the shakes. The doctor thought it was low blood sugar, so he told me to suck on some candy throughout the day. But that didn't seem to help at all. So finally I called again and they sent me in for some tests on my heart. I had an EKG and an Echocardiogram (an ultrasound of my heart). The tests were really interesting to watch and at then end I asked if I could see the baby so he slid down and took a peak. It was so cool.

So I saved the best news for last! We are having a little GIRL!!! The ultrasound was so much fun. We got a ton of pictures. The doctor said everything looked perfect. All the measurements were right where they needed to be. She weighs 6 oz. and is about 5 1/2 in. long. We are so excited for our little bundle of joy. It's amazing to see how real it gets when you know what you're having. You can't help but think about everything that goes along with a little girl. We are so pumped. The doctor gave us the test result on my tests, and turns out I have a congenital heart defect. It basically means that one of my valves isn't working properly, and it's having a hard time pumping my blood the way it should. I see a cardiologist on Tuesday so he will tell us more. A little scary, but probably nothing too serious. Well now the fun begins. We can start decorating and buying cute little things. We already stopped on the way home and got two little dresses. It was fun. Our next appointment is on the 10th of May. So we will keep you posted.
