Our newest additions. . .

So this last week we added two new members to our ever so growing family, Fern and Fiddlesworth (we call him Phil). Two baby goats! Jordan and I thought it would be a good idea to have them eat down our pasture instead of mowing it all spring and summer. This way less mowing and we can watch them grow and enjoy it. They are the cutest goats ever. They were born as triplets and Phil had to be bottle fed. So he's a little bit smaller than his two sisters. We left their sister Fig, because she was going to be a show goat :) and was more expensive. So last week sometime (last week was a blurr for some reason, I can't remember what day) we brought these two kids home. They are 4 1/2 months old and their breed is Boer. I guess the owners daughter named them? But since they new their names so well, we decided to keep them and modify Fiddlesworth to Phil. They are adjusting pretty well. Won't be long until they'll have forgotten their old home all together. I tried to take a picture of Phil but he wouldn't leave me alone long enough to sneak a picture. Anyways he looks just like Fern, but has a little more red on his face.

Here's Koda trying to be cute like the new goats she's jealous of!

Look at me Mommy. I'm cute too!

This is the only picture of Phil I was able to get.

Since it was Spring Break last week, work was extremely slow. I guess no one want to get surgery over Spring Break. I had the luxury of having a few random days off (not that that's too out of the ordinary for me :) ). So Wednesday I took my Mom and Grandma and our dogs to the coast for a walk on the beach and lunch at Mo's. It was so nice that day. I can't wait for consistant sun and warm weather.

My Mom and Grandma enjoying the tropical Oregon coast!

Although it may not look steep. This picture is very deceiving.

It was a beautiful day.

I guess Jordan has now decided that he wants to find out what we're having after all. So on the 13th of April we will know what we're having. Unless of course we change our minds again! But until then, hope everyone is doing well.

And the heart was heard...

Well we are a little past due with the monthly updates, but that was because our doctors appointment was canceled due to an emergency c-section our doctor had to attend too. So on Wednesday we were able to finally hear our little ones heart beat. It was hard at first because the doctor said I had a lot of static on/in me and it took a few minutes for that too go away. But when we were finally able to hear it, it was awsome. Not quite as cool as the first time we got to see the baby, but it ranked right up there. It was a very quick appointment, he said everything seemed very normal and good. And he'll see us again on the 13th of April for the big ultrasound. It will last about 45 minutes he told us. We will be able to see all the babys organs and determine the sex (If we decide to. Still a little undecided on that subject.).

Still getting a bunch of baby stuff. Jordan's parents got us a Harley Davidson shirt and a bear figurine. They are so cute. We bought our first baby item as well. We purchased a handmade pine craddle that rocks back and forth. It is really pretty. A little bigger than it looked in the pictures but it will work really well.

Proud Papa (Notice anything strange on his face?)

So one day I came home from work and Jordan asked if I wanted to go look at a Bronco in Florence. I thought I would appease he and said sure and I didn't think anything of it. Thinking he was just seeing what my reaction would be. A few days later I found myself driving to Florence with Jordan, Jesse, and Koda to look at a Bronco. Supposedly, it's for me to 4-wheel with Jordan and his Luv. So I can have something to drive too (Yeah right). We'll see how that pans out!! But it actually is really fun. It has a big motor and really cool sound effects. It has a PA system that plays animal sounds and sirens. It's helarious. And it's in pretty good condition for being an old '79 Bronco that was previously owned by a kid and who knows who else. We will probably take it to the coast next time we go camping to try it out.

Isn't it a peach! Diamond in the rough.

Jordan's recent project has been to re-do my 4-wheeler. Since it's 10 years old (holy cow, where does the time go) it was in need of some major maintenance. So after many long hours of working, he finally finished it. Horray!!! It's like a brand new bike. Can't wait to try it out. He's so handy.

Well I have been feeling FAIR. I've been having a lot of kidney pain lately which isn't very fun. The doctor said that my urine sample was fine, but he was going to send it for more testing. So we will see. And I figured out (the hard way) that I need to eat like every three hours or I get sick. It wasn't very fun learning that lesson. It's been interesting trying to figure things out that work for me and my body. I was sick with a viral infection and didn't work an entire week a little while ago. So being sick with the flu and not wanting to eat but having to eat or I get sick was kind of hard to handle. But all better now. Hopefully I'll hit that magical 2nd trimester marker that everyone talks about soon. All for a good cause RIGHT!?
I have really been craving egg salad sandwiches. I eat them all the time. MMMMMM!!!!!

Isn't he a nice husband, making his pregnant wife a sandwich.

I've really been enjoying this nicer weather. Can't wait for consistant sun. There's so much to do in the summer. Like yard work. I LOVE YARD WORK SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! I wait all winter for it. I'm sure Jordan will have to beat me to go to work when it gets really nice out. Last year we were so busy with the wedding (can you believe we've only been married 6 months. Seems longer. And we've been busy in that time too. Ha Ha.) that I didn't have time for a whole lot. So this year I'm making up for lost time with a super garden. :) I can't wait. I hope everything will grow. What a let down when you keep expecting something to come up and it never shows. I hate that.

                                                                       Our spring time yard

So Jordan and I want to take a poll from everyone. We want to know what your thought are on finding out the sex of the baby. We have just recently been on the fence about the topic and haven't been able to make up our minds. So if you want to share please leave your comments in the comment sections under this posting.

DON'T FORGET IT'S MUSTACHE MARCH AT THE FIRE STATION!!!!!!
Isn't he something else with that ugly stuff on his face. April can't come soon enough!
Feel free to comment on this too.

Thanks again to all our friends and family. We wouldn't be where we are today without you. Update to come after next baby appointment (4/13) or if anything super cool happens in between now and then.
