Our update. . .

Well it's been a month and not too much has been going on. We've just been staying home for once, which is weird and kind of nice. We didn't end up going camping over the 4th of July like we usually do. We were helping in the hay field. But it was probably a good thing to stay home because my back has been really bad and I would have been miserable camping. We might try to go a different weekend, but we'll have to see. So like I said we haven't been doing too much. Jordan did refinished our deck, and we're in the process of splitting wood. Things have definitely SLOOOWWWED down for me, so even sitting on a stool running the lever up and down for the wood splitter is quite a chore. We only do a few hours at a time : )
I was reading our last blog to see where I left off with me and the baby and my how things can change in a month. Two weekends ago I was bending over to pick something up and felt my back pop. I ended up basically crippled for about 5 days. I had to go to my general practitioner, who told nothing could be done. Still in excruciating pain went to my OB, who said he wanted to see me back in a week to check my progress. Meanwhile, I was completely unable to even roll over in bed by myself, let alone go to work. We had our appointment on Tuesday and my doctor measured my belly and said that I'm three weeks bigger than what I should be. But he said since I have a small frame it's not completely uncommon and he would like to keep monitoring my size. And as far as my back situation, he has restricted me from working. So I have to start my every two week appointments now, which I hope makes it go by faster! He also told me with this hot weather coming to expect my face, fingers, and feet to be three times their size. And ankles, what ankles. At least I have the river to be in, it's so nice to cool off in it. So I'm not too excited about my back getting worse and worse. It's really going to suck when I get bigger and bigger. I did buy a support belt and it helps immensely. But I guess we'll take what comes at us a day at a time. And I have to hand it to Jordan, he's been a trooper through all of this. He's been super helpful and understanding.

Here are some pictures of the last months events, in no particular order:

This is a picture of what use to be KODA's ball. We were watching a
movie one night and when we turned the light on after the movie
this is what we found. We are going to be awful parents. We both
thought it was funny, and so cute how KODA thought she was
in trouble. How could we get mad at such a cute little face.
I guess we'll have to work on that, when our
kids destroy a perfectly good toy for no reason!!

Given with love from my mommy!
And this...
And this too.
Brought to us by my Aunt Shelley
And this too. Look at that coat, I can't wait to put her in it!
This quilt was made for Jordan when he was a baby by his
Aunt Ronda. Jordan's mom passed it along to us. I love
hand made gifts. Thank you Lisa!

Here are the belly pictures that have been requested by oh so many people (Damaris):
This is week 28
This is also week 28
Here is week 29

It looks like there's a ball under my coat!

These pictures were taken at the coast. Jordan and his sister
Jessica decided to go jump off a bridge into
a lake. I never could quite get
that concept. Jump off a perfectly good bridge!
The lake was gorgeous.

Doesn't it look warm?!
Yeah, well it wasn't. I can't believe how cold it was and
they still decided to do it.
Here we are watching them, and we are so cold.

Jordan's mom knows the family that owns the fitness center
in Florence. So when we went over to the coast she had
them open it up just for me, to see if it would help my
back. It was so nice, I had to whole pool to myself. I could
feel my spine stretch out, it was very relaxing. That is until I had
to get out of the pool : (   But it was so nice of them to open
the pool just for me. I told both of them NO PICTURES!!!
That didn't last too long.

We thought it would be nice to go to the beach. Well I think
we picked the wrong day to go to the coast. I can't remember the
last time I've seen it that windy. Needless to say, we were literally
out there long enough to take three pictures.

I love our summer time yard!
And our garden. Thanks Jordan for helping me weed it!!
Here's the dreaded wood project.
I think we are going to get a lot of wood from these logs.
Thanks Aunt Debi and Uncle Stan, we'll think of you when
our buns are nice and toasty this winter.
Here's my loving husband mowing our orchard.
Oh my goodness, how dare me to almost forget. Jordan's newest
addition. This is our new to us 28' trailer Jordan found on Craigs List.
He had to go all the way to Vancouver to pick it up.

And a goodbye kiss from FERN!!!
